Connect Zendesk to Raysly from Integrations. Raysly opens a Zendesk ticket for every new lead, using an API token from your Zendesk account. The ticket has the lead id, source, region and a link.
This guide says exactly what the Zendesk connection does today. Raysly does not read more than the connection asks for.
Before you start
- Sign in to Raysly as the account owner or an admin. Only owners and admins can connect or disconnect an integration.
- Have the Zendesk account that should be linked to Raysly.
Connect
- Open the Zendesk tile. In Raysly open Settings → Integrations. Find the Zendesk tile with the search box or the Customer support filter, and click Connect on the tile. A details panel opens. Click Connect in the panel to go to Zendesk.
- Approve Zendesk. Paste your Zendesk subdomain and API token in the panel. Raysly stores the token encrypted and never shows it again.
- Check the connection. Raysly brings you back to Integrations and shows a green confirmation banner. The tile now says Connected, and the details panel shows which account it is connected as. The tile shows Zendesk as connected. New leads open a ticket.
- Know what the connection does. Raysly opens a Zendesk ticket for every new lead, using an API token from your Zendesk account. The ticket has the lead id, source, region and a link.
Disconnect
In Settings → Integrations open the Zendesk tile and click Disconnect, then confirm. Raysly marks the connection as revoked and stops using it. Tickets already opened in Zendesk stay there. The token is deleted from Raysly.
Raysly's authorisation can stay listed at Zendesk after you disconnect. To remove it there as well, revoke that API token in Zendesk.
