Connect Zoho Books to Raysly
Connect Zoho Books to Raysly from Integrations: sign in through the Zoho European data centre and link your organisation. What the connection does today.
Last updated
Connect your Zoho Books organisation to Raysly from Integrations. The Zoho Books connection is in beta.
This guide says exactly what the connection does today. Raysly links your Zoho Books organisation and shows its name on the card. Posting order invoices to Zoho Books is not available; invoice posting works with Xero and QuickBooks Online.
Before you start
- You need a Raysly account. If you do not have one yet, create a Raysly account first.
- Sign in to Raysly as the account owner or an admin. Only owners and admins can connect or disconnect an integration.
- Have a Zoho login that can authorise an app for your Zoho Books organisation.
- Check that your Zoho Books account is on the European data centre (zoho.eu). The Connect button always signs you in there.
Connect
- Open the Zoho Books tile. In Raysly open Settings → Integrations. Find the Zoho Books tile with the search box or the Accounting filter, and click Connect on the tile. A details panel opens. Click Connect in the panel to go to Zoho.
- Sign in at Zoho and approve. Raysly sends you to the Zoho European sign-in page. Sign in and approve. Raysly asks for Zoho Books full access, because Zoho does not offer narrower permissions for the Books module.
- Check the connection. Raysly brings you back to Integrations and shows a green confirmation banner. The tile now says Connected, and the details panel shows which account it is connected as. Raysly links the first organisation Zoho returns and reads its name and currency.
- Know what the connection does. On an order, Sync to accounting answers that the connected provider is not supported, and nothing is posted to Zoho Books. Use Xero or QuickBooks Online if you want Raysly to post order invoices.
Disconnect
In Settings → Integrations open the Zoho Books tile and click Disconnect, then confirm. Raysly marks the connection as revoked and stops using it. Nothing in your Zoho Books organisation is deleted.
Raysly's authorisation can stay listed at Zoho Books after you disconnect. To remove it there as well, remove the Raysly app in your Zoho account settings.
Frequently asked questions
The Zoho tile says Not configured. Why?
Raysly has not set up its app with Zoho, so the tile shows Not configured and has no Connect button. If you reach a connect link anyway, Raysly sends you back to Integrations with the notice "We couldn't complete the connection: this connection is not set up on Raysly yet. Nothing was changed on your account." Nothing changes on your Zoho account. Still stuck? Email support@raysly.com and tell us the platform, what you clicked and what you saw.
My Zoho Books account is on another data centre. Can I connect it?
The Connect button always uses the Zoho European data centre (zoho.eu), and there is no data centre picker on the tile. If your account is hosted somewhere else, do not connect yet. Still stuck? Email support@raysly.com and tell us the platform, what you clicked and what you saw.
Which Zoho Books organisation does Raysly link?
The first organisation Zoho returns for your login. To use another organisation, disconnect and connect again with a Zoho login whose first organisation is the right one.
Who can connect or disconnect?
Only the account owner and admins. Other team members can use what is connected but cannot change it.
The connection to Zoho did not finish. What now?
Raysly shows a red notice at the top of Integrations that starts with "We couldn't complete the connection" and gives a short reason. Click Dismiss and click Connect again. Nothing is connected until you approve the request at Zoho. Still stuck? Email support@raysly.com and tell us the platform, what you clicked and what you saw.
