Last updated

Connect your Microsoft 365 account to Raysly from Integrations. The Microsoft 365 Calendar connection is in beta.

This guide says exactly what the connection does today. Raysly links your Microsoft account and shows your Outlook events on the Raysly Calendar page, next to your order milestones and Google Calendar events. Raysly does not write to your Microsoft calendar.

Connect Microsoft 365 Calendar to Raysly in four steps: open the Microsoft 365 Calendar tile, sign in at Microsoft and approve, check the connection, know what the connection does.

Before you start

  • You need a Raysly account. If you do not have one yet, create a Raysly account first.
  • Sign in to Raysly as the account owner or an admin. Only owners and admins can connect or disconnect an integration.
  • Have the Microsoft account you want to link.

Connect

  1. Open the Microsoft 365 Calendar tile. In Raysly open Settings → Integrations. Find the Microsoft 365 Calendar tile with the search box or the Calendar filter, and click Connect on the tile. A details panel opens. Click Connect in the panel to go to Microsoft.
  2. Sign in at Microsoft and approve. Sign in with your Microsoft account and approve. Raysly asks Microsoft for permission to read and write your calendars, to read your basic profile, and to stay connected without asking again.
  3. Check the connection. Raysly brings you back to Integrations and shows a green confirmation banner. The tile now says Connected, and the details panel shows which account it is connected as. The card shows the Microsoft account you linked.
  4. Know what the connection does. The Calendar page in Raysly shows your order milestones, your Google Calendar events and your Microsoft 365 (Outlook) events. Outlook events are read-only and can take up to a minute to refresh.

Disconnect

In Settings → Integrations open the Microsoft tile and click Disconnect, then confirm. Raysly marks the connection as revoked and stops using it. Nothing in your Microsoft calendar is changed or deleted.

Raysly's authorisation can stay listed at Microsoft after you disconnect. To remove it there as well, remove Raysly from the apps you have given access to in your Microsoft account.

Frequently asked questions

Will my Outlook events show in Raysly?

Does Raysly add appointments to my Outlook calendar?

No. Raysly does not write to your Microsoft calendar today.

Who can connect or disconnect?

Only the account owner and admins. Other team members can use what is connected but cannot change it.

The connection to Microsoft did not finish. What now?

Raysly shows a red notice at the top of Integrations that starts with "We couldn't complete the connection" and gives a short reason. Click Dismiss and click Connect again. Nothing is connected until you approve the request at Microsoft. Still stuck? Email support@raysly.com and tell us the platform, what you clicked and what you saw.
